Accomodation: Accommodation consists of 3 double suites renovated to a very high standard each with their own private bath or shower and WC facilities. We also have a further guest room not en-suite, ideal for teenage youngsters at a reduced rate. Intimate dining room. Cosy lounge with a wealth of oak beams, open log fire and central heating throughout for the comfort of our winter visitors.
STABLE BAR -
Sympathetically restored stable block comprising cosy intimate bar with adjoining games room.
During the winter months guests have the option of our candlelit alpine evenings, served in the bar and comprising: mulled wine, steak pierrade, fondue and raclette, cooked individually at your table, terrific fun!
Outside
Large well maintained grounds with an abundance of flowers, shrubs, trees and quiet seating areas.
Boules Piste. The traditional French outdoor sport. Take part in our regular contests against the locals. Losers buy the wine!
Badminton court. Ideal to occupy youngsters or responsible adults!
Garaging for four cars with inspection pit and workshop facilities being of particular interest to our vintage car owning friends en route to Le Mans or our cycling friends needing emergency repairs!

LUCY is a small hamlet situated on the D1314 road approximately 2 km from the bustling market town of Neufchatel with its excellent variety of shops, bars, restaurants and recreational facilities, not to forget the lively farmers local produce market held every Saturday.
Neighbourhood activites: THE LOCAL AREA which is known as Pays de Bray is steeped in history and remains proud of its reputation of producing probably the finest dairy products available today together with a range of ciders renowned the world over. Needless to say the cellar at La Grande Corbiere is brimming with bottles of home made cider from their own orchards. Lying approximately 25 km south of the bustling fishing port of DIEPPE with its famous Saturday market, quaint streets, full of bars and seafood restaurants and boasting the world’s finest IVORY MUSEUMlest anyone forget Dieppe’s proud past as one of the worlds leading spice route trading posts.
Dieppe ivory carvers are reputed to have engraved the revolver handles for the wild west's most famous cowboys! 30 km to the south west lies the magnificent city of Rouen. - A myriad of cobbled streets, ancient architecture and boasting a magnificently restored Cathedral, numerous churches and the old market place where Jean d'arc met her untimely demise, now incorporating a magnificent new church with breathtaking stained glass windows salvaged from the original church destroyed by the Germans.
FURTHER AFIELD within easy driving distance are the towns of Eu with its magnificent royal palace, the adjoining seaside resort of Le Tréport with its brightly painted fishing fleet, bars and mouth watering seafood restaurants, and for the gambling minded a magnificent Casino. FECAMP - a well known watering hole for yachtsmen with its waterfront bars and restaurants and Benedictine monastery where you can see the famous liquors being made, sample the end product and if your eyes still focus marvel at the magnificent architecture and art collection. PARIS - needs no introduction is but a two hour drive away, or why not let the train take the strain, a frequent direct service from the local station of Serqueux with its adjoining spa town of Forges les eaux nowadays better known for its Casino and fascinating wartime resistance museum. ACTIVITIES - Pays de Bray is a paradise for lovers of the outdoors, with miles of quiet country lanes, meandering rivers, spectacular panoramic scenic views and romantic forest walks where time has left the oak and beech trees undisturbed for centuries. Deer and buzzards being a common sight not to mention the occasional confrontation with a wild boar! The opportunities for walking, cycling and fishing are endless. There are a variety of beautifully maintained Chateaux and gardens to visit, not forgetting the world famous Monet gardens at Givenchy. Sport Normandy is a golf lover’s mecca with a variety of superb courses. The forest course at Rouen being a half hour drive away and the picturesque course of ST SAENS with its Chateaux-like clubhouse, superb restaurant and billiard room only 20 minutes distant. Visitors to Normandy are amazed at how quiet the courses are midweek, with Green fees as little as 18€ per day. Swimmers are well catered for with a variety of reasonably priced indoor and outdoor pools. Weather permitting there are a number of quiet local beaches, several with lifeguard supervision. Tennis can be played at local clubs 10 minutes drive away. Horse-riding facilities exist locally with a very well run pony club for youngsters. Cycling - our own Mountain bikes are available free for the use of any of our guests staying for more than one night.
